Our Mission

Through the power of the Holy Spirit, and in response to God’s love as revealed in the Gospel, the mission of Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey is to serve those in New Jersey who hurt, who are in need, or who have limited choices.

Values Statement

We believe that as an agency of the Church and as a servant of our Lord we have a responsibility to establish and maintain an honest and open relationship with the people we serve, the congregation and organizations we partner with, the communities in which we have a presence, our volunteers, our staff, and those representing our government and other organizations.

We value serving the needs of persons in various life circumstances which enables us to serve the needs of the whole person.

We value our commitment to serve all we are capable of serving without discrimination in any form and to provide equitable treatment for all. As stewards of God’s gifts we focus on providing the highest quality of care through the most responsible use of our resources.
