Diane D’Agostino, MSW, LCSW, Director of Adoption, obtained her Bachelors and Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University. She has over 10 years foster care experience. Diane began working for Lutheran Social Ministries in 2010 and has worked in both the Infant and Waiting Children Programs. As a foster parent, Diane brings both professional and personal experience to her work at the agency. She feels truly blessed to be working with expectant mothers and adoptive families as they navigate their adoption experience. For her, building families is a very rewarding part of her job.
Michelle Dodge, MSW, LCSW, graduated from Siena College with a BA in Psychology. She obtained her Masters in Social Work from Fordham University with a specialization in trauma-informed treatment for children and adolescents. Michelle got into social work out of a desire to aid people. She has previously worked in domestic violence and currently volunteers at a dog shelter. To her, an overwhelming satisfaction occurs from being able to support families throughout their adoption journey.
MaryAnn Sager, MSW, LSW , has worked in the adoption field for over 20 years. She is currently working as a consultant after being Director of the Adoption Program for 7 years. MaryAnn began working for LSMNJ as a contract worker in 1988, doing birth mother counseling and preparing homestudy reports. For 16 years, she worked for Holt International, where she facilitated over 200 adoptions from 10 different countries. She has traveled to Korea to escort children to the US to their adoptive families. Prior to her work in adoptions, MaryAnn worked as a therapist at a Women’s Health Center and as a probation officer in Middlesex County. MaryAnn obtained her Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University in 1981.
