Affordable Senior Housing
These days, New Jersey’s aging population faces many challenges when it comes to housing. There are many that struggle with income limitations, transportation availabilty and medical needs. In addition, many are concerned with finding a place to call home that is safe and secure. Currently, Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey offers 8 communities across the state that provide affordable senior housing to those who meet the age and income requirements. All of our properties are conveniently located near public transportation, churches and shopping. Many offer on-site daily activities organized by resident groups, social service support or assisted living services, and several offer rental subsidies to assist with rental payments. LSM/NJ affordable senior housing offers residents the ability to remain independent, establish close friendships with neighbors, and feel secure in their own home. For those who have a disability or handicap and meet specified criteria, several facilities offer apartments equipped with handicap accessibility features.
