Director:

maryann_sagerMaryAnn Sager, has worked in the adoption field for over 20 years. She is currently Director of Adoption Program, a program of Lutheran Social Ministries of NJ (LSM/NJ). MaryAnn began working for LSM/NJ as a contract worker in 1988, doing birth mother counseling and preparing homestudy reports. For 16 years, she worked for Holt International, where she facilitated close to 200 adoptions from 10 different countries. She has traveled to Korea to escort children to the US to their adoptive families. Prior to her work in adoptions, MaryAnn worked as a therapist at a Women’s Health Center and as a probation officer in Middlesex County. MaryAnn obtained her Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University in 1981.

Social Workers:

dianedagostinoDiane D’Agostino, MSW, LSW, heads our Waiting Child Program. Diane graduated from Rutgers University with BA in Social Work. Diane is a licensed social worker who obtained her Masters in Social Work from Rutgers School of Social Work in 2010. She has been involved in the foster care system for nine years. .

 

Kathy BasileKathy Basile, CSW  is a Certified Social Worker  in NJ who obtained her degree from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.   Kathy has worked in the field of adoption, both with birth mothers and adoptive families.  Her social work background also includes presenting workshops, training sessions, public speaking and outreach work.
