Discover a Perfect Fit for Your Lifestyle

Crane’s Mill’s Independent Living community is designed for those who choose to pursue retirement living in an engaging social environment and for those who have a passion for living an active lifestyle.

Our promise to Crane’s Mill independent living residents is to provide a lifestyle they can enjoy. Each resident has the option of a charming, yet spacious apartment or a well-appointed two or three-bedroom cottage – - there are more than 20 floor plans to choose from. In addition, they have access to elegant common areas and numerous services that assure their comfort and satisfaction. The best part of independent living at Crane’s Mill is how easily accessible it is to participate in a wide variety of programs and activities.

In addition to generous personal space, Crane’s Mill Independent Living provides dining rooms, game rooms, a library, an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool hot tub, a fitness center with a dedicated personal trainer, computer rooms with Internet access, ping-pong and billiards tables, a woodworking shop, an auditorium, jogging, biking, and walking paths, a greenhouse, life enrichment programs, cultural opportunities and volunteer opportunities. Through our pastoral care program, we offer weekly spiritual gatherings on-site for members of all denominations featuring representatives from various local congregations.

Crane’s Mill recently completed construction on its campus adding an additional 66 apartments and 10 cottages. Crane’s Mill’s independent living options include a total of 252 apartments and 30 cottages.  View the floor plans of our apartments and cottages, both current and new construction.
