Skilled Nursing Care
The Health Center at Crane’s Mill offers skilled nursing care to those who need 24-hour long-term care and short-term care or rehabilitative services. Specific services for each resident are based on individual needs. A plan of care is developed by an interdisciplinary team, consisting of representatives from Nursing, Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies, Social Services, Recreation, and Dining Services, with input from the resident, his/her physician, and family.
Services can include:
- Specialized nursing care, such as complex medical treatments.
- Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy as prescribed by the resident’s physician.
- Special diets developed by the clinical dietician and physician.
- Social services, including individual counseling, supportive groups and family groups.
- Recreational activities, which can include group as well as one-on-one activities, designed to meet the therapeutic and social need of each resident.
- IV Therapy.
Several amenities such as hair salon, an outdoor patio, a library, a private dinning room, gift shop and an indoor pool are available on-site in our community.
Skilled Nursing Care living units are furnished single rooms with a bathroom and are often shared with one other resident.
