At Crane’s Mill, our goal is to create an environment that fosters well being and quality of life. Our approach to healthful living includes the overall body, mind and spirit – and that philosophy resonates throughout our community. Simply put, people live better here.

With a wide range of movement and exercise classes are offered each week, Crane’s Mill’s activity program provides opportunities to suit all levels of physical ability. From traditional weight training and pool exercises to line dancing and Tai Chi, there are plenty of ways for residents to develop whole-body wellness and stay “forever fit.”

Mental, Physical and Spiritual Health for the Mind, Body and Spirit

The staff at Crane’s Mill works hard to combine efforts and offer activities, programs and services that enhance the resident’s overall wellness — incorporating mind, body and spirit.

Keeping mentally active and challenging the mind lends to better alertness and overall well-being. We offer educational programs and access to cultural events. For physical health, our campus houses an indoor swimming pool, hot tub, and full service fitness center with access to a Certified Personal Trainer. We offer a full monthly calendar of activities which include Tai Chi classes, Yoga, and dancing.

Our pastoral care program is designed to meet the spiritual needs of our residents, no matter what faith or religious affiliation. We have a dedicated Chaplain on site, who provides weekly worship opportunities and pastoral support.

A full monthly calendar of activities is distributed to each resident, called the Millstream. Most activities take place in our auditorium to provide plenty of room for movement.
