Our Housing Development program pursues housing development opportunities within the State of New Jersey. Helping families find affordable housing is part of our mission at LSM/NJ. Combining compassion with common sense, Lutheran Social Ministries seeks ways to provide affordable housing to those with special needs in our communities.
Housing Development Partnerships
With the growing demand for reasonably priced housing, LSM/NJ partners with public and private entities to develop quality, affordable housing.
LSM/NJ partnerships include:
- Municipalities by helping them meet their COAH housing obligation.
- For-profit developers by building their affordable housing component.
- Churches and community development corporations by revitalizing neighborhoods and meeting housing demands within suburban and urban communities.
- Communities by ensuring an inclusive planning and community development process.
