Anthony Coniglio Promoted to Executive Director, Housing

LSMNJ - Anthony Coniglio

Anthony Coniglio, senior director of housing for Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey (LSMNJ), was promoted to executive director housing effective November 1, 2014. In addition to recognizing the value of Anthony’s experience and expertise to our organization, this title change affirms the importance of our housing programs that comprise a full one-third of LSMNJ’s business portfolio.

The successful management of these properties and residential services is critical to the ongoing work of LSMNJ and fulfillment of our mission. “ Anthony has demonstrated his ability to both manage our affordable housing properties and create quality safe homes for those we serve. This promotion is reflective of the dedication and unique skill set that Anthony has demonstrated while here at LSMNJ.”

Since coming to LSMNJ in February 2013, Anthony has supervised more than 25 managers and support staff, been responsible for the operations of multiple affordable housing properties across the state, and provided strategic direction for enhancement of current properties and proposals for new housing projects. As executive director his responsibilities will expand to include oversight of LSMNJ’s homes for developmentally disabled women in Piscataway and Sayreville as well as the Lutheran Children’s Home in Jersey City. Anthony’s compassion combined with his strong business acumen in running affordable housing will assist us in enhancing our program for disabled women.

Prior to joining LSMNJ, Anthony was a housing asset manager for firms in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania and also worked as a manager and consultant in residential/commercial lending. His diverse professional experience over the past 18 years  makes him well-suited to help guide LSMNJ in responding to the changing needs of New Jersey’s housing market. Anthony studied business administration at Rider University and has extensive training from the Institute of Real Estate Management, which provides certification for property managers.
