Beth Eichfeld Named to Newly Created Associate Vice President Position with LSM/NJ

Beth Eichfeld was recently named Associate Vice President, Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey (LSM/NJ). In this newly created position, she will be responsible for the administration of affordable housing programs; community outreach services: the LSM/NJ Adoption Program, New Visions Homeless Day Shelter, and Lutheran Children’s Home; community residential services: Piscataway and Sayreville Community Residences, Luther Haven, and Project Home; and PACE site development. Beth comes to the LSM/NJ corporate office in Burlington from Lutheran Senior Life in Jersey City where she was Executive Director and supervised the successful launch of this new site.

In her 25+ years of experience in the senior services field, Beth has held progressive levels of leadership varying from executive director, social worker, senior sales specialist, cadre trainer, and health care administrator in skilled nursing, assisted living, and independent living. Focuses in her career have been on project development, staff development, and construction and start-up in fresh and innovative care models. Beth has been very active with the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association both as a volunteer and as a member of the Board of Directors. In the last year, she was named to the New Jersey Long Term Care Steering Committee.

Beth is licensed in New Jersey for health care administration and nursing home administration. She successfully completed Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt training and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Studies from Graceland University (Lamoni, IA). When not at work, Beth can usually be found at Nordstrom’s, with a book, or spoiling her rescued kitties: Pippi and Tinker.
