Chief Operating Officer Role New at LSM/NJ
I am happy to announce a change in title and scope of responsibilities within Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey (LSM/NJ) for Margaret “Peg” Bucci. Effective immediately, Peg will be the Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) for LSM/NJ.
Joining LSM/NJ as Vice President for Housing and Community Services in August, 2006, Peg has successfully lead and grown a diverse portfolio of programs and properties. Included in her list of oversight responsibilities to date are the Adoption Program, Feeding Friends, New Visions Homeless Day Shelter, Lutheran Disaster Response, Immigration & Refugee Services, Lutheran Home for Children, Project Home, Lutheran Senior LIFE (a PACE program), and multiple units of affordable housing for families, disabled individuals, and seniors.
Prior to joining LSM/NJ Peg was employed as the Executive Director of Housing for PresbyHomes & Services in Lafayette Hill, PA where she managed and developed a portfolio of 19 affordable housing communities. Earlier in her career, she also worked for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in Philadelphia as a Development Project Manager and the Interim Supervisory Chief of Development. A Villanova graduate, Peg earned a B.A. in Human Services Administration with a concentration in gerontology, and has completed graduate courses at Chestnut Hill College.
