Donna Bingenheimer of Journey Hospice Receives LeadingAge NJ’s Excellence in Direct Care Award
EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — Donna Bingenheimer, BSN RN LMT CCAP, Case Manager and Licensed Massage Therapist at Journey Hospice, was chosen as a 2019 Excellence in Direct Care Award recipient by LeadingAge New Jersey. Donna was honored at an awards program on December 4, 2019 at The Boat House at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, NJ. The award recognizes individuals who are making a difference in the lives of residents, colleagues, and their local community through outstanding leadership, personal commitment, and innovation in services and program delivery.
Donna received her BSN from Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, NJ and has worked as a registered nurse for 37 years. In addition to being a Licensed Massage Therapist, she is also a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist, Reiki Master 3rd degree, and a Healing Touch Apprentice. She has co-authored an article in an International Aromatherapy Journal and has conducted workshops and classes teaching individuals about natural healing methods to support the body, mind and spirit to achieve relaxation, decrease pain, increase energy, and the promotion of wellbeing, transformation and wholeness.
