Key Positions Filled by Dedicated Staff

Jen Cripps has been promoted to Vice President & Chief Financial Officer for Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey. Jen, who has been serving as for the past year as interim CFO, joined LSMNJ in October 2007 as the controller for housing and community programs. In the summer of 2010, Jen was promoted to the position of corporate controller, taking on additional responsibilities for the long-term care facilities in addition to her previous duties. Prior to moving to the not-for-profit sector, Jen was a senior associate as PricewaterhouseCoopers for over four years, and then a manager at Dow Jones & Company. She earned her BS in accounting from Juniata College.


Lee Doty has agreed to serve LSMNJ full time as our General Counsel.  Lee had been serving LSMNJ in a part-time capacity since 2007 while at the same time maintaining her private law practice.  She will now be devoting her time exclusively to LSMNJ.  Prior to joining LSMNJ, Lee was a partner at two Pennsylvania-based national law firms, chairing the health law practices at each firm.  Earlier she was vice president and general counsel at The Graduate Health System in Philadelphia and earlier was vice president and general counsel at the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.  Lee is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and past chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Health Law Practice Group.  She earned her BS at Duke University and JD at Georgetown University.
