LSM/NJ Annual Easter Basket Drive a ‘HOPPING’ Success.

LSM/NJ delivered 470 Easter baskets (150 more than last year) to children who have been impacted by super storm Sandy, as well as children and seniors within our programs: Project Home, Affordable Family & Senior Housing, Lutheran Social Ministries of Camden, Developmentally Disabled residents and New Visions Homeless Day Shelter. With the generosity of donations from several congregations, organizations, and individuals, we delivered bountiful Easter baskets filled with candy, stuffed animals, games, books and blessings. We extend our appreciation to all those who donated and helped bring smiles to the children’s little faces. And a very special “thank you” to the residents of Crane’s Mill who helped assemble and donate baskets, as well as Holy Trinity Hasbrouck Heights (in partnership with Redeemer Lutheran Church in Maywood) and Living Waters in Flemington for joining in and participating for the first time.

See for yourself, the smiles we helped create…
