Vice President and Executive Director, Lutheran Crossings at Moorestown
John Chapman, MBA, LNHA, has joined Lutheran Crossings at Moorestown as the new Vice President and Executive Director. Elizabeth Sparling, Chief Operating Officer of Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey, the parent organization of Lutheran Crossings, noted, “John brings a great deal of experience to the job and is well prepared to implement the many exciting improvements we have planned for our community. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated the leadership skills, experience, and vision necessary to grow Lutheran Crossings.”
As a grandfather to four active grandchildren, John brings to Lutheran Crossings a personal appreciation of life’s many ‘chapters,’ and the benefit of engaging seniors with their families and the surrounding community. He has a genuine desire to provide an enriching surrounding and the highest level of quality care to Lutheran Crossings’ residents.
John has gained experience over the years by overseeing several senior care communities in Pennsylvania. His most recent position was with Meadowview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Whitemarsh, PA, where he served as the Nursing Home Administrator. He also was the interim nursing home administrator at Pine Run Health Center in Doylestown, PA, administrator at St. Francis Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare (formerly Saint Francis Country House) in Darby, PA, administrator at St. John Neumann Nursing Home in Philadelphia, PA, and administrator at St. Mary Manor in Lansdale, PA.
After graduating with a BA in English from Holy Family College in Philadelphia, John later earned an MBA in Health Care from Holy Family University. He is a licensed nursing home administrator in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and has served as a Course Facilitator in the Division of Extended Learning at Holy Family University in Philadelphia.
As a resident of Fairless Hills, PA, John enjoys spending time with his wife, Kathy, three children and four grandchildren.
