#GivingShoesAndSocksDay

On Tuesday, November 29, 2016 LSMNJ, along with charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world, will participate in #GivingTuesday, a day to come together for one common purpose: to celebrate and encourage giving.

Many nonprofits are putting their own twist to #GivingTuesday. LSMNJ’s campaign this year will be #GivingShoesAndSocksDay. If you live on the streets and survive by walking from place to place caring for your feet is a must. Join LSMNJ as we strive to provide 100 pairs of new shoes and socks to our homeless brothers and sisters.

New Visions Homeless Day Shelter, located in Camden, NJ, serves 150 homeless men and women a day. We provide meals, showers, laundry, social services and a variety of other programs to meet the daily needs of our guest. Please help us reach a goal of providing 100 pairs of new shoes and socks to the people we serve.

Monetary Gifts

A gift of $50 will buy a pair of boots, $25 will purchase a pair of shoes and a $10 donation helps us to acquire a bag of socks. Online gifts can be made at https://www.lsmnj.org/support-us/.
