Vice President and Executive Director Appointed at Lutheran Crossings Enhanced Living
Beth Eichfeld’s appointment as the new Vice President and Executive Director of Lutheran Crossings Enhanced Living (LCEL) at Moorestown was recently announced by Phillip Harrington, president and CEO (interim) of Lutheran Social Ministries of NJ (LSMNJ), the parent organization of LCEL.
Known as an innovator, Beth has been a valued member of the organization since 2009. Over the past five years, she first served as Director of Operations and later as Executive Director for Lutheran Senior LIFE at Jersey City. For the past 18 months, as Associate Vice President, she has been responsible for LSMNJ affordable housing and community residential services programs. Since January, Beth has also been instrumental in planning and implementing recent enhancements at LCEL.
After earning her BA, Beth acquired a license in health care administration and also completed lean Six Sigma training. More than 25 years of well-rounded experience in senior services and healthcare provide her with the professional credentials as well as the expertise to lead LCEL into a new age of senior living and care. Outside of work, she serves on the New Jersey Long-Term Care Steering Committee and is active in the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Commenting on this appointment, Phil Harrington noted, “This is the most recent of exciting changes being implemented to enhance the experience of our residents, their families, other care participants, and visitors to our LCEL campus. We are pleased that Joanne Schwartz, serving as interim executive director since January, has agreed to stay on during the transition to Beth’s leadership.”
Nestled on 12-acres along Main Street in Moorestown’s historic district, LCEL offers assisted living, nursing, and rehabilitation services in a comfortable residence combined with supportive care to enrich overall quality of life.
